Do I need to buy any special equipment?
No, we provide and maintain all equipment necessary to connect your home to our network. If you would like wireless mobility within your home for your wireless devices (laptop, tablet, smartphone, gaming console, etc.), or would like to connect multiple devices, you will need a wireless router. If you do not have one we can provide and configure one for an additional one-time charge.

Is there a contact?
No our plans do NOT have a contract. You may cancel at anytime by calling us to schedule de-installation of our equipment.

Can I use a wireless router in my home?
Yes. You may connect our service directly to your wireless router. Please verify the router settings with our technicians during your installation. KwiKom can provide and configure a wireless router for an additional one-time charge.

Is it possible to do a self-install?
Since our installation requires professional configuration of the router equipment based on location, it is not possible to do a Self-Install.

How do I pay?
We accept check, e-check, credit / debit card, and cash for your installation and monthly service. Autopay and paperless billing services are also available.

How fast is it?
Our service plans range from 30x to 300x faster than dialup. The wireless connection does not require the use of any phone lines. Our network experiences an average of 10-80ms in delay before reaching the internet. We are connected to the internet via redundant Fiber Connections.

Is it like DSL or Cable?
Yes. Our service is an always on reliable high speed Internet connection. However, since our service is wireless to your home there is no requirement for phone lines or Cable service.

What if I have a problem with my service?
KwiKom is a Kansas owned and operated company that provides in-house local phone support. Knowledgable technicians are also available to help after-hours, on weekends, and holidays.

Can I use VoIP Phone?
Although we do not guarantee any service that is supplied by a third party, VoIP is compatible with our network.

It is like satellite?
No. Our service is not adversely affected by weather. You will enjoy an always on internet connection. Additionally, satellite internet service has an astro-physical problem compared to our service, where the connection must travel approximately up to 100,000 miles round trip to reach your home. This causes a latency issue to the internet, otherwise known as lag. What this means is that it takes up to 200x the amount of time for your internet connection to receive the data than it does with our service. Satellite also may have daily download limits. Sometimes a Windows Update can cause you to reach your daily download limit and you will no longer be able to enjoy a high speed connection.

It is like AT&T, Sprint, Verizon mobile broadband?
No. Our wireless service is a professionally installed fixed wireless connection, giving us more capability to ensure the quality of service.
