KWIKOM Celebrates Community Spirit with Cherryvale Free Swim Initiative
At KWIKOM, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting initiatives that bring people together. This summer, we had the pleasure of participating in an incredible community-driven effort led by local Cherryvale resident, Ahlayna McPherson. Ahlayna’s dedication and generosity inspired us all as she spearheaded the Cherryvale Free Swim initiative, raising funds to make pool admissions free for everyone in the community.
When Ahlayna started this initiative, her goal was to raise $4,200, an amount calculated to cover the entire summer’s pool admissions for children and families in Cherryvale. Her journey began with a personal contribution of 20 admissions on opening day and quickly gained momentum as more community members joined in. Her passion and commitment were truly inspiring.
Hearing about Ahlayna’s efforts, we at KWIKOM knew we had to be part of such a heartwarming and impactful project. We were honored to contribute the final $1,345 to help reach the $4,200 goal. This collective effort means that families can now enjoy a summer filled with fun and memories at the local pool, without the worry of admission costs.
