Seamless.net ISP Network Acquired (Lyon County, KS)
KwiKom Communications, Eastern Kansas’s largest fixed wireless provider of internet and digital phone service, has acquired the wireless internet operations and related assets of Seamless Data Systems, an Emporia, Kansas based internet technology company who provides computer repair and networking support to Emporia and the surrounding area. Seamless’s wireless internet coverage area includes Emporia, Americus, Reading, Neosho Rapids, Hartford, Olpe, Admire, Miller and the surrounding areas.
Following the acquisition Seamless Data Systems will continue to provide full-service IT support, computer repair, and networking support, as usual. KwiKom will immediately begin work upgrading the network to enable the offerings of higher speed internet plans to homes and businesses, as well as make phone service available. Bringing quality, reliable, unlimited high speed internet to more areas is a top focus for KwiKom and there are plans to expand to more of Lyon County and the surrounding areas to provide high speed internet and phone.
Current Seamless Data System’s internet subscribers do not need to take any immediate action, their internet service plans will remain the same through the network transition. KwiKom will continue billing services as normal, and will be contacting subscribers to provide information on how to update account and billing information, and service plan changes as network upgrades are completed in their area. Seamless Data System subscribers will also have the ability to buy phone service for their home or business, often able to keep their existing phone number.
